About Me

I was born or quite possibly hatched an increasingly long time ago in a galaxy far far away, Croydon in the UK, and a more treacherous hive of scum and villainy you’d be hard pressed to find!

Somehow in spite of being a clueless and naive fellow, I managed to mostly survive several years of very bad haircuts, not to mention a complete lack of both common and fashion sense, the UK education system and even a few years of the old 9-5 before a very drunken game of monopoly led me to Hong Kong in 1990. I’d always been a fan of cinema, especially that in the action and Asian action and martial arts genres, which helped point me in the direction of the former crown colony. Since then I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to work in both the local and international Film & TV industries on a wide range of projects including Films, TV series & Documentaries including Jet Li’s Fearless, Jackie Chan’s Rush Hour 3, Yuen Woo- Ping’s s True Legend, The Art of Action: Martial Arts in the Movies, The Amazing Race and many more. I also co-edit the world’s leading global action entertainment magazine Impact, contribute to various other magazines, and provide special features and commentaries for DVD releases, and much more.t I think I like it!
